Stock levels and movements are transferred to the web and despatch details from all 5 offices are available online, for all authorised parties to track, and if required acknowledge receipt. Each item of stock is given a barcode label and a traceability reference upon receipt, allowing any product to be traced back to the manufacturer. The recipient of the stock can read and check incoming stock with the aid of a barcode reader, confirming the electronic stock manifest received from any location using the WELLSTOCK system or manufacturer with the ability to create and transmit an electronic file.
UK Freight Mover works with FF&E Company
A UK based Freight Mover is using WELLSTOCK to answer the needs of an International Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) Company with projects around the world. Our solution allows entry of each individual purchase order and supplier, creating an inventory for each project. The progress of each in the supply chain is monitored and all interested parties can view the status online. Progress emails are sent automatically as information is received.
Oil Industry Procurement Module
Another global oil industry supplier uses the above technology with the addition of a procurement module, allowing each office to produce purchase orders for suppliers. The order details are transferred to the internet, allowing senior managers and in some cases suppliers to view the orders placed, the performance of each supplier and a reminder of due receipt dates etc. Data can be added to these screens updating all interested parties; these changes can be e-mailed automatically to pre-ordained addresses.
Oil and Gas Equipment Hire
Yet another “oil” company providing high value tools, for hire to the industry, uses almost all of the facilities above. An extensive range of Tools and Equipment are despatched on hire, together with fitted/or supplied consumables. When returned from the site the tools are examined, if required they are sent for repair, the number of runs/use is recorded and added to the tool stock description. Consumables can be defined as scrap to be recycled or sold, defined as used or unused consumables can be returned to stock. Full reports are provided covering each item of hire equipment.
Hotel Operator - Middle East
A Middle East hotel Operator will shortly take advantage of our new Tender, procurement and costing module. This allows them to post purchase orders on line, with suppliers logging on and offering their quotations. The hotel operator compares potential suppliers, decides and then issues a purchase order, together with transit and asset management barcode labels. The tender PO is converted to an actual PO and the FF&E and OS&E original solution continues to manage the project, with the added advantage of estimated and actual budget costs shown for each room, suite, department and project. These figures are readily available to all authorised parties as an in house report, which can be easily printed or e-mailed. The reports can also be converted to Excel.
